McDermott & Bull Leading Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Development Officer Searches for Scooter’s Coffee

IRVINE, California, May 15, 2018McDermott & Bull has been retained by Scooter’s Coffee to lead their search for a Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Development Officer.

These executive recruiting engagements are being conducted by The fit Practice at McDermott & Bull, which includes Jeff Black, Partner; Jason Pinegar, Associate Principal Consultant; Trey Mullen, Associate Consultant; and Kelly Nguyen, Executive Search Associate; as well as Shree Thakarar, Senior Recruiting Associate; and Quyen Doan, Recruiting Associate.

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will build a CPG retail-driven business for Scooter’s Coffee, leveraging existing brand loyalty, gained through their successful coffeehouse and drive-thru kiosk store formats which are located throughout selected Midwestern states.  This influential executive will lead the development and execution of Scooter’s commercialization strategy and build a high-functioning team and infrastructure to support the expansive adoption of its products throughout the retail marketplace.  The CCO will be responsible for aggressive business growth goals and play a critical role as a member of the senior executive leadership team.

The Chief Development Officer (CDO) will build the franchise-driven business for Scooter’s Coffee, while continuing to sustain and develop company owned locations.  As the company expands its reach throughout the Midwest, this leader will have an opportunity to benefit from helping drive strategic growth.  The CDO will be responsible for overseeing Sales, Real Estate and Construction.  In addition, the CDO will have direct oversight to ensure store development and franchise sales are achieved in accordance with budgeted expectations.  It will be critical for this leader to successfully build strong and positive relationships, both internally and with potential and current Franchisees.  The CDO will be responsible for aggressive business development growth goals and play a critical role as a member of the senior executive leadership team.
