Bill Brewer is a Principal Consultant with a primary focus within the firm’s Consumer Products Practice, serving both private and public companies, private equity firms, and their operating companies. He is also a member of the Private Equity Practice and the Board Solutions Practice, and a functional expert with our client’s Human Capital/Human Resources needs.
Prior to joining McDermott & Bull, Bill served in the Chief Human Resources Officer role for two privately held and one publicly traded company, ranging from 1,500 to 20,000 employees. Bill’s deep corporate background includes well branded companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Epicor Software, and Fluor Corporation. His executive search work includes the functional areas of Executive Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Information Technology/Systems, Legal/Compliance, and Supply Chain.
Bill is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Redlands and volunteers his time with the leadership team of the Career Coaching ministry at Saddleback Church. He also serves as a mentor for the MBA program at the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Additionally, Bill serves on the Board of the Orange County Compensation and Benefits Association (OCCABA).
Bill earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Redlands and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. He also received his Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from WorldatWork. Bill is married with three children and resides in Orange County, California.
