Scott grew up in Indiana, and his career has given him the opportunity to live in Pennsylvania, California, Colorado, New Jersey, and due to his fluency in German, in Frankfurt, Germany for five years. He and his wife Barb have two grown daughters and a grandson and reside in Huntington Beach, California. Scott volunteers for the Be The Match Registry at the National Marrow Donor Program, after having donated to a chronic myelogenous leukemia patient who is still alive more than four years after the transplant. Scott received a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University Krannert School of Management.
